Masterpiece Paintings

The MASTERPIECE finish is a commissioned painting that will fit right in with the art collections around your home. The rich brushstrokes are created by hand and the colors are custom selected to compliment the subject matter. Once it's applied to museum grade artist's canvas and covered with layers of lacquer, your portrait has a life expectancy of 100+ years. This archival product will be passed down for generations.

Classic Canvas

The CLASSIC finish is a combination of photography and artistry.  The photograph is applied to artist's canvas and has a beautiful protective glaze finish.  An artpiece that creates an impact in any room - a place where friends and family gather around and reminisce. A stunning reminder of that which you hold dear in your life.

FAQs

What’s included?

You have been selected to receive a children's classic portrait session as well as a $1000 portrait credit at the studio.

Can I have all my children photographed?

Yes, you may.  We encourage focusing on just one child, however you may include up to four siblings.

Why do I have to pay a reservation deposit?

So that we may accommodate you with the level of service you deserve, we do require a fully refundable $200 booking deposit. Spaces are limited. This is to secure your portrait sitting and is fully refunded during your viewing and ordering appointment.

Is there any additional cost to me?

No! Most people that go through this special experience find they fall in love with our work and wish to purchase more; however you are not obligated to do so.  If you decide you'd like to invest in our work, we can apply your reservation deposit toward your order.

Do you have a pricelist?

How much are additional portraits?

Can I just buy digital files?

We don't have a price list to send out since all of our portraits are unique to each client.  We price everything during your viewing and selection appointment because pricing varies depending upon the finish, size and quantity of what you select and every person wants something different. We offer a range of portraits from large scale exquisite hand painted portraits at $14,000 to more modest sizes in photographic finishes. Our artwork is definitely an investment. It's created like original art and priced like original art and it's certainly not within the reach of every budget. However, there is never any obligation to purchase anything. We have families that come just for the experience and that's part of the beauty of what we do. To give you an idea, some spend $500 and some spend $5000 or more and are thrilled with their purchase but no one is ever obligated or pressured to buy anything.  We are not a digital only studio however we do include complimentary the digital file of any portrait that you purchase. We also offer in house financing options with no interest, to help clients be able to get what they love most.

What should my child wear?

As a studio that specializes in fine art portraiture, we have a dress code that will help us create beautiful, timeless portraits for you. The biggest regret we hear from clients after their sitting is that they didn't realize how much they would love their portrait and they wish they had dressed more formally and not in casual clothing. We have specifically designed our lighting and backgrounds to consistently produce priceless, museum quality, heirloom portraits.

Please dress your child formally as if going to a wedding or other formal event. Solid clothing ideal in drawing attention to the faces of those in the portrait. Please avoid bright colors, checks, plaid, stripes and logos. Try to avoid fresh haircuts or a new hairstyle until after your sitting.

Boys:

A dark suit or even a tuxedo with white shirt is preferred, or a solid color shirt with no patterns and a tie or bow tie.

They can also wear a dark vest or sweater in lieu of a jacket. If they are six or under, a white shirt with a bow tie is also acceptable. Dress in dark pants, dark socks, and dark shoes. Boys four and under can wear light blue, off-white or cream.

Girls:

A dark or jewel toned dress or formal wear.  Sleeves or long sleeves are flattering for older children as it keeps the attention on the face. Little to no pattern is ideal.  If they are six or under, off-white, cream or soft pastels are lovely.  While older girls are recommended to wear long sleeves, it is best for younger girls to wear short or no sleeves.  Be sure to remove any chipped fingernail polish.  Manicures are recommended for older children but avoid bright colored polish.  Natural nails are best.

Shoes: Babies and young children do not need shoes and are adorable barefoot. Older children should wear matching formal shoes.

What if my children are in school and our work schedules conflict with your appointment times?

These appointments are very limited and only available during the week but do not take a lot of time.  You might need to take your child out of school for just an hour or so; however, it will not take near as much time as a typical doctor's appointment.  This is a special time for you and your child to experience together getting ready and having fun with each other.

Can we include our family pet?

Sorry, no, this experience just focuses on children.
